The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History in Kennesaw, Ga., will host its third annual Railroad Rendezvous this month. The family friendly event, which celebrates the unique history of railroads, is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on July 18. It also exists to teach visitors about the area’s past, according members of the Pittsburg Shawmut & Northern Railroad Historical Society.
